Shopping connector privacy

The What’s New Furniture connector helps you choose furniture, prepare a Shopify checkout, and plan a showroom visit. Our store privacy policy also applies.

Information used

Search requirements are used to find products. Operational logs retain tool names, timing, response size, success, and counts or status categories. They do not retain your search text, payment information or transaction tokens. Network protection uses a salted network identifier; this is not proof of your identity.

Saved lists use an anonymous token. Checkout preparations store selected products, quantities, a policy snapshot, requested delivery region or postal code, and hashes of private access tokens. The connector does not ask for your name, full delivery address, email or card details. Your assistant provider handles its own conversation data under its privacy policy.

Checkout and confirmation

You review the final total, fulfillment and terms and pay in Shopify hosted checkout. WNF receives a signed Shopify paid-order event. For a matching connector transaction, we retain the order identifier, order name, currency, paid total, receipt time, and any recognized additional service variant IDs and quantities. Customer details in the event are not stored by this connector. No other buyer’s orders are available through its tools.

Retention and control

Saved lists and unapproved preparations expire after 24 hours. Approved handoffs remain available for 30 days to allow receipt matching; matched paid receipts expire after 90 days. Daily cleanup removes expired records. Operational logs are retained for 90 days. Keep your session and transaction tokens private; anyone possessing both can access that transaction until expiry.

A prepared showroom handoff is not evidence of a visit. A checkout link is not evidence of payment. Measured outcomes and attribution assumptions are kept separate.
